TERMS OF SERVICE

 

These Terms of Use apply to the use of Card Vault Japan (hereinafter referred to as "the Shop") and the online shop service (the "Service") provided on this website. Registered users (the "Users") are requested to use the Service in accordance with these Terms of Use.

 

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms of Use shall apply to all relationships between the User and the Shop in connection with the use of the Service. In addition to these Terms of Use, the Shop may also establish other rules regarding the use of the Service ("Individual Regulations"), which shall constitute a part of these Terms and Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms of Use and the Individual Regulations, the Individual Regulations shall take precedence unless otherwise specified.

 

Article 2 (Registration for Use)

Registration for use of the Service is completed when an applicant agrees to the Terms of Use and applies for registration in the manner prescribed by the Shop, and the Shop approves the application. The Shop may decline an application without disclosing the reason if false information was provided, the applicant has previously violated these Terms, or the Shop otherwise deems registration inappropriate.

 

Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password)

Users are responsible for managing their own user ID and password and may not transfer, lend, or share them with third parties. The Shop deems any use of the Service under a matching ID and password to be by the registered user, and is not liable for damage caused by third-party use except in cases of the Shop's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

Article 4 (Sales Contract)

A purchase contract is formed when a User makes a purchase offer and the Shop notifies acceptance. Ownership of the product transfers to the User upon delivery to the shipping carrier. The Shop may terminate the purchase agreement without prior notice if the User violates these Terms, delivery cannot be completed due to an unknown address or prolonged absence, or the Shop deems the relationship of trust has been damaged. Payment, delivery, cancellation, and returns are governed separately by the Shop's Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.

 

Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Copyrights and other intellectual property rights in product photographs and other content provided through the Service belong to the Shop or other legitimate rights holders. Users may not reproduce, reprint, modify, or otherwise make secondary use of such content without permission.

 

Article 6 (Prohibited Matters)

Users shall not: violate laws or public order and morals; engage in criminal acts; infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights; interfere with the Shop's server or network; make commercial use of information obtained through the Service; attempt unauthorized access; collect other users' personal information; impersonate another user; or engage in any other conduct the Shop deems inappropriate.

 

Article 7 (Suspension of the Service)

The Shop may suspend or discontinue the Service without prior notice for system maintenance, force majeure, technical failure, or other circumstances that make provision of the Service difficult, and shall not be liable for any resulting loss or damage.

Article 8 (Restriction of Use and Cancellation of Registration)

The Shop may restrict a User's use of the Service or cancel registration without prior notice if the User violates these Terms, provided false registration information, defaulted on payment, or if the Shop otherwise deems continued use inappropriate.

 

Article 9 (Withdrawal)

Users may withdraw from the Service by following the Shop's prescribed withdrawal procedure.

 

Article 10 (Disclaimer)

The Shop does not warrant that the Service is free of defects, errors, or bugs, and is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except where the contract constitutes a consumer contract under the Consumer Contract Act, in which case this disclaimer does not apply to that extent. The Shop is not responsible for transactions or disputes between Users and third parties.

 

Article 11 (Changes to the Service)

The Shop may change or discontinue the Service without notice and is not liable for any resulting damages.

 

Article 12 (Modification of Terms of Use)

The Shop may modify these Terms of Use at any time when deemed necessary. Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes agreement to the revised Terms.

 

Article 13 (Handling of Personal Information)

The Shop will handle personal information obtained through the Service in accordance with the Shop's Privacy Policy.

 

Article 14 (Notification)

Notices between the Shop and Users shall be made in the manner prescribed by the Shop, using the most recently registered contact information.

 

Article 15 (Prohibition of Assignment)

Users may not assign their rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party without the Shop's prior written consent.

 

Article 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Shop's head office.
